Post-graduate study
The department of postgraduate studies is a structural unit of Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan and has been operating since 2008.
The main goal of the department is to organize training highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers in postgraduate and doctoral studies.
In its activities, the department is guided by the regulatory legal acts in force in the country in this area.
Currently, postgraduate and doctoral studies at Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan are training highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff in more than 30 medical specialties.
Conducted research activities are aimed at the diagnosis and treatment of infectious and non-infectious diseases, the study of medicinal plants growing in the country and the development of the production of medicines from them, the scientific substantiation of the use of natural local raw materials for medicinal purposes in the country’s sanatoriums, the preservation of epidemiological well-being, the introduction of the achievements of the national medical heritage into modern medical science and other topical issues in medicine. Scientific work is carried out in collaboration with other scientific and scientific-clinical centers of the country.
Based on the results of scientific research, monographs and teaching aids are prepared, and articles are published in peer-reviewed publications. Patents are being introduced into healthcare practice for inventions, innovation proposals and innovative diagnostic and treatment technologies.
Main areas of work in the department:
Organization of the activities for training programs for scientific and pedagogical staff in post-graduate study;
Organization of training of scientific staff in doctoral studies;
Organization of scientific training of applicants for academic degrees;
Providing methodological and advisory assistance in the preparation of graduate students and doctoral students, as well as in the preparation of an educational and methodological material;
Preparation of orders and other regulatory documents in the implementation of dissertations;
